Wisteria floribunda 'Cascade' Tree
Wisteria floribunda 'Cascade' is a gorgeous climber which, as its name suggests, produces cascades of beautiful, drooping purple blooms in summer.
Like most wisteria, this variety prefers a moist, well-drained soil, in either a full sun or partially shaded position. Train against a sunny wall using support wires, over a pergola or above a window so the racemes can be enjoyed from inside. Wisteria floribunda 'Cascade' will reach an approximate height and spread of 10 x 4 metres in 20 years, and can also be trained (using a tree stake) to form a more "standard" tree shape.
All of our Wisteria are grafted, so they tend to flower younger than those grown from cuttings.
