Rhododendron 'Germania' Shrub

Rhododendron 'Germania' is an evergreen shrub with vibrant hot pink flowers, complemented by mid-green foliage. Germania's flowers are bell-shaped with delicate ruffled edges and bloom in late spring, early summer. Germania is a dense shrub with very large flowers and grows up to 2 meters. It is also low maintenance, making it ideal for creating some natural privacy whilst maintaining a brighter evergreen throughout the seasons. With a rating of H6, Germania is very hardy and able to survive in temperatures of up to -20 degrees in Northern Europe. 

Germania will flourish in partial shade in a sheltered setting. It prefers acidic and well drained soil. It's ultimate height and spread in 20 years is 2x2 meters.
